egroups protect id decoding

drag an egroups protectid url to the top input box, and press 'Lookup' or enter to translate it to the original email address.

possible problems:

  1. after pasting the value into the encoded input box you sometimes have to actually click on the text in the input box to make netscape see it.

  1. enter http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wolbonet/post?protectID=210243066213056135062232033140247130071026091 into the 'encoded' input box.
  2. click on the decode button
  3. now the 'decoded' box contains my email address: itsme@xs4all.nl
